/* ═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════
fonts.css — the app's typeface, named in this file and nowhere else.

TO CHANGE THE FONT, EDIT THIS FILE AND NOTHING ELSE (9aq):

   1. The @import below. Paste the href of the <link rel="stylesheet"> that
Google Fonts' "Get embed code" gives you. Its two preconnect lines are
      already in every page.
   2. --sans: text, buttons, headings, the hint line, the tips.
   3. --mono: labels, readouts, chips, the bar strip, the top nav, the BPM.
The name is historical. It no longer has to be a monospace face, and
      Electrolize is not one.

Every page links this file: the home screen, the builder, the library
and both pickers. Every rule, every add-on's injected CSS and both
canvases (the QR caption burned into an exported video, the picker's
waveform) read the two variables, so nothing else names a family.
   tests.html fails if anything does.

── ELECTROLIZE HAS ONE WEIGHT AND PROPORTIONAL FIGURES ──────────────────
   - Weight: only 400. Text set at 600 or 700 (headings, Play, the logo)
gets the browser's synthetic bold, and 500 renders as 400.
   - Figures: proportional. A "1" is half as wide as a "0", and the font has
no tabular-figures feature to switch on. A number that changes while a
slider is dragged sits in a box sized in ch (the width of "0", the
widest digit here), so the slider never changes length under the
finger. font_check.js holds that for every slider in the builder.

── IF A FAMILY HAS SEVERAL WEIGHTS ─────────────────────────────────────
Ask for the ones the app uses: 400, 500, 600 and 700 for --sans, 400 and
700 for --mono. A weight that is not loaded is faked or rounded rather
than missing, so the page still works, but it looks wrong.
